freeverbit.tar.gz This is a stand alone command line version of the famous freeverb plug-in by Jezar Wakefield. It will work under linux with the SGI audiofile library. I see no reason why it wouldn't work under Irix, too.
linux_SGI_mix_utilities.tar.gz A collection of little c utilities to mess around with SGI mix files, from moving soundfiles and their curves to transplanting one file to another. It will work with the linux version. To work with the IRIX version it needs some tampering.
gBPfilter.tar.gz A little GTK Band Pass Filter utility (for Linux). It is supposed to develop into a complete Equalization software.
